Our family, our grandparents’ butcher shop, our growth. All starts in Semogo, in Alta Valtellina. In the early 1950s, after the II World War, new hopes and opportunities bloom all around. The entire County sees their shop as the best reference point where to find the most selected tasty meats. Thanks to the care and ability of our granny a new little first production of bresaola was started and with it also the story of our brand. Her new idea of salting some of the meat cuts led our family to what we are now. At that time it was then soon clear for our granny the right name for these products: De ‘BAITA’. A name in the past, a brand in the future.

De ‘BAITA’ whose meaning is homemade and handmade… only one word for Light, Fresh, Tasty and Good!
